Since the deadline is Wednesday at 11 PM, this lucky millionaire has only a couple of hours left to receive the money that is rightfully his or hers. The authorities and lottery representatives have joined their efforts in an attempt of finding this elusive winner and have him come forward before it is too late. It would be quite a shame for this huge amount not to be claimed, given the fact that the odds of winning a lottery jackpot are insignificant.
A collective effort to find the winner
While most lottery players are anxiously waiting for the draw and don’t let their recently purchased tickets out of sight, this one is completely oblivious of his luck. The speculations about his intention of waiting until the very last moment are now losing credibility fast, because the risks of missing the deadlines are all too real. Regardless of how fascinating the idea of keeping everyone waiting and wondering might be, the risk of losing a fortune should outweight the benefits of having some fun.
Lottery officials say that the winning ticket was purchased in the Stevenage and Hitchin area and the winning numbers were drawn on June 8 in the Euro Millions.
